Time has flown by since I began learning about becoming a connected educator and tried my hand at setting up a blog!
Since last year I have worked little by little to build my Personal Learning Network based on a technology class I worked through via Atomic Learning. It was called The Social and Interactive Web 2.0.
It feels like I have learned a lot since then and yet at the same time, it feels like I have such a long way to go. But this year I have embedded what I have learned so far into the professional development for the Pre-K teachers in our district.
The great news I recently received was that our PK teachers will be able to get their 3 hours of non-duty technology credit for building their PLNs and showcasing how they have used what they have learned in their classrooms. In addition, they will complete a reflection piece to top off their requirements for the credit.
